PROCESS
I. Concept
We derived inspiration from topographical forms, aiming to mimic the curvature and materiality of canyon rock forms. Our piece aims to bring the wearer into the experience of walking through a canyon; The dress envelopes the wearer, embracing bends and curves like that of a natural canyon. As we moved into our sketching, we were inspired by topographical maps for their communication of materiality in geometric, layered forms.
