The CARSS center is administrated through the Viterbi School of Engineering at the University of Southern California. USC hosts the CARSS Administrative Core, as well as NEST projects developing cuff electrodes for peripheral nerves and sensor technology.
Medipace, Inc. is a Pasadena, California-based medical device start-up company developing implantable therapeutic devices for restoring health in people with gastrointestinal, auto-immune, and metabolic diseases. Medipace is responsible for the electronics development, firmware, and software developed at the CARSS center.
Med-Ally is an LLC in Goose Creek, South Carolina that designs and manufactures a variety of top-of-the-line medical devices. Med-Ally is responsible for the mechanical design and manufacturing of the implantable pulse generator and leads, as well as quality documentation.
