ACADEMIC PROGRAMS

Academic Programs and Practical Training

CKIDS builds on several successful interdisciplinary programs that are joint between USC schools.  Interdisciplinary data science graduate programs are designed for students who do not have a background in programming or computer science, and start with courses that are accessible to all undergraduates.

CKIDS provides practical opportunities for graduate and undergraduate students to learn through hands-on projects, to work in groups with different skills levels and expertise in data science, and to work with faculty across the university in all areas of data science.

CKIDS also supports PhD students across the university that are interested in pursuing thesis topics involving data science.
