University of Southern California Counseling & Mental Health is pleased to announce Postdoctoral Fellowship positions in Clinical Psychology for the 2025-2026 academic year. The positions are full-time, 12-month appointments, specifically providing clinical services to the university’s student population. In addition to a generalist experience, fellows will have the opportunity to tailor their learning in a specialty area. Special emphasis areas include Eating Disorder/Body Image Concerns, Trauma and Gender-Based Harm, Crisis Services, Substance Abuse, Behavioral Health, and Training/Supervision. The duties include providing individual psychotherapy, crisis intervention, outreach and prevention, and psychotherapy groups for USC students. Other responsibilities include providing supervision and training to pre-graduate trainees. The postdoctoral fellow will work under the supervision of a California Licensed Psychologist. Postdoctoral applicants must have a doctoral degree in Counseling or Clinical psychology from an APA-accredited program and have completed an APA-accredited pre-doctoral internship. Strong clinical skills and experience are required. Experience working with individuals from diverse backgrounds is essential. Organizational skills, follow through, flexibility, openness to feedback, and ability to work independently in a responsible manner are all essential to this position. The University of Southern California (USC) is a private urban research university located near downtown Los Angeles. USC has a population of 37,000 students, which includes undergraduate, graduate and professional degree students. The university has one of the largest international student populations in the United States. The positions begin August 1, 2025. The salary is approximately $65,374 and includes health benefits, sick time, paid vacation, professional days and $500 stipend for professional development.
