Welcome to the USC Physical Therapy’s lab where shoulder injuries are our focus. Our mission is to advance the understanding, prevention, and treatment of shoulder injuries in athletes. Currently, we are conducting an innovative study aimed at individuals aged 18-55 who are experiencing shoulder pain, and we need your participation.
About the Study
This study is focused on shoulder pain caused by rotator cuff tendinopathy. We recognize that shoulder injuries are prevalent in many athletic and work daily activities, and through this research, we aim to uncover new insights that could lead to improved prevention and recovery methods.
Participation Details
Participating in this study involves a commitment of 5-6 visits to the USC Health Science Campus. During these visits, participants will engage in a series of physical assessments and therapy sessions with our expert team. These sessions are designed to gather data for the study while also providing valuable insights and treatments for the participants themselves.
Compensation and Benefits
As a token of our gratitude for your time and contribution, we are offering a $200 compensation to all participants. Additionally, each participant will receive an 8-week personalized physical therapy plan from our expert team, designed to alleviate their shoulder pain.
Making a Difference
By participating in this study, you will be contributing to a body of research that could significantly influence how athletes prevent and recover from shoulder injuries. This research has the potential to make a real difference in the world of sports and the well-being of athletes.
