The Science of Teaching Math (TSTM) is a research group that focuses on teachers’ acquisition of knowledge and pedagogical skills and the transfer of these skills into their practice, with special attention to issues of equity. TSTM also works to identify critical learning opportunities that are key to developing teachers’ knowledge and skills and which teacher- and teaching-related issues will help eliminate inequities in the mathematics classroom.
