Online Learning
Spring Semester
To support social distancing and the health and well-being of our community, USC will finish the remainder of the academic semester online or remotely. View important information about a modification to the undergraduate grading policy, options for course grades and withdrawals and numerous academic FAQs.
Faculty will record all classes and make the recordings available to students asynchronously (at any time outside of class time). They will also make all course materials, including those used during lectures and class sessions (such as faculty notes or slides), available to students asynchronously.
USC ITS instituted several Zoom security changes to ensure a safe, protected and inclusive online learning environment.
Summer Session
All in-person summer programs and associated in-person activities will move to online offerings through the end of the first summer term. In late April, we will evaluate if we can have in-person on-campus activities for the second summer term. There will be no summer learning abroad programs.
Graduation
Academic progress will continue, courses will be completed, and students currently on track to graduate this term will be able to graduate this term if they complete their courses satisfactorily as usual.
International students with specific concerns about travel, visas, and online capability should contact the Office of International Services at (213) 740-2666 or ois@usc.edu.
