The Development of Infant Motor Performance Laboratory (DIMPL) is directed by Barbara Sargent, PhD, PT, PCS.  DIMPL is dedicated to the study of the development of human action during infancy and early childhood, and to the early identification and rehabilitation of infants at risk for neurodevelopmental disabilities.

DIMPL is supported in part by the National Institute of Child Health and Human Development of the National Institutes of Health (NIH), the NIH National Pediatric Rehabilitation Resource Center (C-Progress), the Foundation for Physical Therapy Research, the Cerebral Palsy Foundation, and the Academy of Pediatric Physical Therapy.
