MANAGEMENT AND OVERSIGHT BOARD
Board Charge
The charge to the Dynamic Imaging Science Center (DISC) Management and Oversight Board is to review the activities of the Center and to consider and comment on plans for future activities. The Board will deliberate about each of these matters with the aim of evaluating prior activities for commenting on future plans.

DISC Management and Oversight Board members do not have time limited or term limited roles. Board members typically represent senior leadership from the schools and colleges that have the highest stake in the future direction of the Center.
Board Meetings
The Board meets once per semester and as issues arise to respect the time of the Board members. Agendas are distributed prior to meetings. Board meetings may include discussion on the following areas:

Developing and advising on Center policies and procedures, including, but not limited to:
-Scheduling priorities
-Data access and retrieval
-Safety and Compliance
-Billing policies and procedures
-Hours of operationAdvising on strategic planning
Reviewing and advising on space planning and construction initiatives
Reviewing and advising on critical budget concerns and expense outlays
Implementing new University, Federal, or State laws/guidelines
Reviewing and advising on educational accomplishments and proposals
Reviewing and advising on existing and predicted grant support as well as external/internal partnerships
Reviewing and advising on outreach including underserved minority groups/populations

Committee Charge
Members of this committee agree to serve in an advisory, strategic planning, and policy setting for the technical operations of the Dynamic Imaging Science Center (DISC). The Technical Advisory Committee discussions will be transmitted to the Management and Oversight Board
Committee Membership
DISC Technical Advisory Committee (TAC) members do not have time limited or term limited roles. Committee members are typically DISC staff and faculty members representing our largest users.
