Crime Predicting Paper Accepted at ACM SIGSPATIAL ’19

Our paper “On Predicting Crime with Heterogeneous Spatial Patterns: Methods and Evaluation” has been accepted at Proceedings of the 27th ACM SIGSPATIAL International Conference on Advances in Geographic Information Systems, 2019. This paper proposes a novel measure which is based on optimal allocation of resources relying on the prediction and then checking the actual number of crimes that would have been avoided by the allocation.
