US Preventive Services Task Force recommends testing all adults for hepatitis C

Approximately 50% of the persons with hepatitis C are unaware they have the infection. To find these individuals, a more aggressive approach to screening is needed. This month, the USPSTF recommends that all adults age 18-79 years be tested at least once. Even those less than 18 or over 79 years of age may be screened if risk factors present. Link to Full Article
