Communication

Communications will be an integal part of the programs of the Global Energy Network. It is not enough to just conduct academic research but it is how that research can benefit the country including private and public decisions.

Therefore, the Global Energy Network will launch programs to communicate research and analysis to policy makers, the media, and the public to developĀ  better energy policies and practices in the use of energy.

GEN Scholars
The Network will provide support to scholars and centers to develop outreach programs and initiatives. These scholars and centers will be provided support to reach out as resources to the news media and policy makers in all levels of government. USC GEN can conduct by itself or in concert with other academic/research institutions educational programs and outreach. Scholars/experts can also be made available to the news media on critical topical issues in the news. Therefore, outreach is an important part of the Network’s goals.
