Veronica (she/her) is a second-year student in the Master of Public Administration – Online program here at USC Price School of Public Policy. She currently lives in San Antonio, TX with her kids. She graduated from BYU-Hawaii in Political Science and worked within the nonprofit and public sectors until she started a full-time small business within the events industry in the Phoenix Valley. After five years of owning and operating her business, managing seasonal employees, and contracting with dozens of venues, she decided to sell her small business in order to move into the MPA program full-time. She has now been able to dedicate more time towards fulfilling a lifelong goal of starting an NGO and helping underserved minority women pitch to investors within a microfinancing model, that rests in a communal environment. Her spare time consists of growing good humans to help with challenging societal problems, traveling alone, and all things art.
