Emily Ellison (she/her) is a first-year MPA student at USC Price. She is originally from New Orleans, LA, and pursued her undergraduate degree at St. Edward’s University in Austin, TX. Prior to attending Price, she worked in immigration law specifically focusing on green card applications and advocating for asylum seekers. She also volunteered at CASA of Travis County, an organization dedicated to advocating for abused or neglected children in and outside of the court system. At Price, Emily is pursuing a Public Policy certificate with the goal of developing new frameworks for program effectiveness. In her free time, you can find Emily on her bike in the mountains or rock climbing.
