Join GPAC, GSG, and your favorite Price School student organizations for the party of the year: USC Price Prom! We are excited to host this signature event at the Petersen Automotive Museum for the first time. This year, we will have excellent photo opportunities, delicious appetizers, a dance contest, and some superlatives to award to your fellow Price school classmates! All ticketed guests will receive admission, appetizers, and access to bar service with drinks available for purchase.
All ages are welcome at Price Prom this year, but guests 21 and over MUST present a valid ID. USC graduate students are eligible for a FREE ticket provided that they provide their student ID number and degree program during ticket registration AND email a photo of their student ID to Gpac.usc@gmail.com with the subject “Name-ID Number.”
Schedule
Price Prom begins at 7pm and ends at 12am. Appetizers will be available while supplies last. Bar service will be available throughout the evening (cash is strongly encouraged). Superlatives will be awarded at 9pm, followed by the dance contest. Please arrive no later than 8:45pm so that our registration volunteers have a chance to enjoy the event as well!
Dress Code
Formal or semi-formal attire is required (e.g. dark two or three-piece suit, shirt and tie, dress shoes; floor-length dress, cocktail dress, or dress shirt and skirt, heels or dress shoes). Black-tie attire is optional (e.g. tuxedos, gowns).
Payment
USC Graduate Students
To reserve a FREE student ticket, USC graduate students must provide their student ID number and degree program on the next page. Students must also EMAIL A PHOTO OF THEIR STUDENT ID TO GPAC.USC@GMAIL.COM with the subject: “NAME-ID NUMBER” (Ex: JANE DOE – 12345678). Individuals that do not email a photo of their student ID within 24 hours may lose their RSVP.
*Note: If you do not possess a student ID, you may also submit a photo of your government issued ID, along with screenshots of your course registration.
Making Price Prom accessible is a big priority for GPAC, which is why USC graduate students are not required to pay for admission. USC students who wish to support GPAC programming are welcome to donate using the Cash App information below.
Non-Graduate Students
Non-graduate student guests include undergraduates, alumni, and other non-student guests. Non-graduate student guests have the option to pay for tickets via Eventbrite and incur Eventbrite fees or pay via Cash App to avoid Eventbrite fees. GPAC strongly encourages Cash App payments, so please download the app and save yourself the cost of fees!
If you opt to pay via Cash App, enter the Promo Code “cashapp” BEFORE selecting the number of tickets you are purchasing to remove Eventbrite costs and click Apply (see screenshot below). Submit Cash App payment to $uscgpac (scan below). CASH APP PAYMENTS MUST BE MADE WITHIN 24 HOURS OF TICKET RESERVATION TO GUARANTEE PURCHASE.
Nominations
At Price Prom this year, we will be awarding superlatives to five (5) outstanding Price School students in the following categories:
- The student most likely to be running late to class
- The student org most likely to have the most Trojan pride at sporting events
- The student most likely to be California’s future Governor
- The student most likely to save the planet for the future
- The student most likely to come back as a USC Price Professor
Additionally, we will be awarding superlatives to two (2) outstanding graduate student organizations in the following categories:
- The student org most likely to throw the best party
- The student org most likely to have the highest GPA
Please nominate peers who have made a positive contribution to your Price experience using this Google Form. Nominations are due Sunday, April 2nd. Only USC students may vote, and each USC student may only vote once. Upon collecting nominations, there will be an official voting process to award the winners with prizes awarded at Price Prom!
Parking
There is minimal parking at the event, and most guests will be drinking (duh!), so Uber and Lyft are strongly encouraged. Parking costs $21 at the Petersen Automotive Museum.
