Gail Dubrow
Professor of Architecture, Landscape Architecture, and Heritage Studies and Public History
Gail Dubrow (she/her) is Professor of Architecture and History at University of Minnesota, where she teaches in Heritage Studies and Public History. She is a Distinguished Professor of the Association of Collegiate Schools of Architecture. Dubrow is the author of two award-winning books: Sento at Sixth and Main, with Donna Graves; and Restoring Women’s History Through Historic Preservation, with Jennifer Goodman. She is currently writing a book on architects of Japanese ancestry in the U.S. Her most recent project, with Laura Leppink and Sarah Pawlicki, explores strategies for engaging aspects of disability history at historic places. They are currently preparing for a new Fall 2021 graduate seminar called Disability Justice and Cultural Heritage, in collaboration with partners at University of Oregon and University of Wisconsin.
