Chorda Tympani

Chorda Tympani is Keck’s a cappella group that performs for various events for patients at Norris Cancer Hospital and LAC+USC and at campus events, including Diwali Day, Black History Month Kick-Off Celebration, Kecktacular, and the Gross Anatomy Donor Appreciation Ceremony. We welcome any and all Keck students, regardless of previous singing experience, to take a break from lectures and make some music with us! Please contact us at with any questions. We hope to sing with you soon!

Kecktacular is Keck’s very own school-wide talent show. This year’s program included performances of “Heart Full of Love” trio from the musical Les Miserables, sung by Mackenzie Postel, Nadav Hart, and Einav Silverstein, accompanied by Andrew Tung on piano; “Crazy” by Adele, sung by Mackenzie Postel; and “Don Jose’s Flower Song” from Carmen, sung by Nadav Hart, accompanied by Andrew Tung on piano (below).

Keck Donor Ceremony

Keck Donor Ceremony celebrates the families and friends of those who donated their bodies through Keck’s Anatomical Gift Program. This year’s event featured speeches by Anatomy Department faculty and medical students, messages from donor families about their loved-ones (read by students), candle-lighting, and songs (sung by students). A full recording of the performances can be found here.
