Students should follow the below 8 steps to submit a completed application. Application is on a rolling basis, the earlier you submit your application, the earlier it will be reviewed for admission.
Before starting the application, please review the required questions for admission
1. Why do you want to pursue a Master of Management Studies? [Please be brief – 100-300 words.]
2. List below the courses you plan to take to complete the degree requirements. Include course numbers and titles. [Courses listed here are not guaranteed to be available, but effort will be made to save seats in Fall courses for students.]
3. How many classes do you expect to take each semester? When do you expect to complete the degree? [ICCI Students should enroll in at least 8 units each term and must finish in Spring 2021.]
4. How many months of professional experience have you completed up to the time of this application? Please include months spent on internships as well as professional paid experience. Enter a numeric value only and ensure your answer matches the content of your resume.
Transcripts must prove the following:
1. Four-year undergraduate degree, or equivalent, from an accredited institution
2. Graduate GPA for business-related courses completed at SJTU of at least 3.3
Transcript Requirements
International students who have earned their degree in China must have a bachelor degree from an institution recognized by the Ministry of Education and submit the following:
1. Official transcripts in Chinese from all post-secondary institutions attended
2. Official graduation certificate(s) and degree certificate(s) in Chinese3. Official English translations of both transcripts and certificate(s)
Students who have completed their degree at institutions outside of China and the United States should check this link — country-specific requirements
Transcripts showing Fall grades at ICCI must be uploaded in both original language and in English formats
Transcript submission is a two-step process
1. Upload scanned copies of official transcripts/certificates into the online application. These must be scans of OFFICIAL documents.
2. After submitting your application and receiving your 10 digit USC ID number, mail official transcripts from all colleges, universities, and other post-secondary institutions you have previously attended.

Scores are considered valid only if earned within two years of your intended first term at USC.
Upload unofficial copies (examinee score report or test-day printout) into the online application.
Important: register to have the testing service(s) forward USC the official school test report. USC will only accept electronic scores. Paper scores are not considered official.
TOEFL: 4852 − Minimum score is 100 overall with no section below 20.
IETLS: Choose “University of Southern California, Graduate Programs.”− Minimum score is 7.0 overall with no band below 6.0.
Letters of recommendation for current ICCI students are submitted by program office. Students can skip this application step.
ICCI Alumni who graduated more than three years ago and are not able to obtain a recommendation from the SJTU screening committee may provide either a professional reference or GMAT scores.
Financial documents must prove $74,374
USC requires qualified financial documents to issue the I-20. It is most efficient to submit financial documents with the application as a complete packet. Nevertheless, financial documents are not required to render an admission decision and are therefore not strictly due by the 4/1 deadline.
The following standard application requirements will be waived for applicants from the SJTU ICCI program.
