If you reside outside of the United States and would like to attend the International Urban Freight Conference, you may be subject to Visa regulations. You can find all current entry regulations and policies here.

Important Notice: The U.S Department of State is currently experiencing long delays in the visa application process and appointments for visa interviews. Wait times vary by country and city, however estimates can be found here. Travel for the purpose of attending conferences in the United States is usually deemed not qualified for expedited Visa appointments. We urge you to begin your Visa application process as soon as possible. Please note that neither the conference’s organizing committee nor the Metrans Transportation Consortium can assist participants with obtaining earlier appointments for Visa interviews.

If you qualify for the Visa Waiver Program, you generally will not need a visa for visits related to business and tourism of less than 90 days. Exceptions apply to those receiving compensation for services and activities such as lectures or presentations etc. If you qualify for the Visa Waiver Program, you must still obtain a travel authorization from the Electronic System for Travel Authorization (ESTA) prior to your departure.
