Computational Quantum Materials Research Group

Welcome to the Li Research Group website! Our group develops and applies advanced first-principles computational approaches to study excited-state phenomena of quantum materials. We use many-electron level quantum theories with high-performance computation to accurately describe interactions among electrons and between electrons and other excitations such as phonons. We aim to provide deep understandings and novel predictions of quantum phenomena in real materials and to propose new protocols to control and engineer quantum excitations.
