Meet Chad Tons

Founder and CEO of one of the world’s top recognized brand and experiential marketing agencies, Chad Tons is a highly accomplished entrepreneur and senior executive officer with more than 20 years of senior leadership and success within brand management and global marketing. Chad leverages extensive experience in concept development and strategy, proficient in the delivery of targeted and specialized advertising and marketing campaigns. He is a dynamic and personable individual with the ability to build strong inter-professional and strategic partnerships and engage big picture vision to drive teams to create and implement innovative large-scale marketing strategies and campaigns on a global platform. With industries of expertise encompassing technology, insurance, automotive, entertainment, banking, home loans, medical, apparel and fashion, food and beverage, and sport, Chad leads and directs a fully integrated, globally recognized marketing organization.

Founding his marketing agency in October 2001 after recognizing his ability to build and retain constructive partnerships and affiliations, Chad established Infinity Marketing Team LLC. in the Greater LA area. He developed concepts and submitted proposals to a select audience of potential clients and within his first year of operation, he had won contracts with HP (who remain loyal to the business today) and Mercedes Benz. He communicates on a daily basis with Fortune 1000 companies including State Farm, Intel, Microsoft, and Twentieth Century Fox, collaborating on product launches, sponsorship initiatives, consumer activations and targeted marketing campaigns.

Infinity Marketing Team Inc regularly achieves client return on investment at over 300% and quadruples client’s campaign objectives, goals and expectations. The company has been recognized for excellence by PROMO Magazine and Event Marketer Magazine for 20 consecutive years through placement in The IT List and Top 100 Agencies.

Campaigns and events of note include the first EVER tech ‘festivalization’ with HP and Intel’s Coachella integration (which has since run for 6 years), HP Omen’s award-winning OMEN Challenge gaming tournament and State Farm’s revolutionary gaming competition meets reality show known as The State Farm Gamerhood Challenge! Chad’s company was one of the first agencies to be featured on the television show The Apprentice.

In 2019, the company partnered with the Pico Corporation for expansion across continents with 44 offices and 2,000 employees globally. Our work for Fortune 100 brands, event innovations, and tech companies has been recognized by advertising and craft awards around the world, winning over 150+ industry awards to date.

Chad held the position of Senior Brand Manager, Marketing and Strategic Alliance, with Adidas America between 1998 and 2001, driving the development of cross promotions and strategic alliances and garnering sponsorship and partnership opportunities with national organizations. He was responsible for partnering contracted athletes with sponsorship campaigns and initiatives and oversaw production of point-of-sale merchandizing. Major initiatives where Chad led the Adidas America concepting and activations included the 2000 Olympics, Boston Marathon and inaugural Women’s World Cup.

From 1996 to 1998, Chad served as Global Brand Manager with Nike Inc., managing fulfillment of partnership agreements while engaging companies in sponsorship investments. He developed and oversaw production of point-of-sale merchandise, affiliated with partnering retail locations, and devised special events and strategic marketing campaigns to create and drive brand awareness. Chad identified national and international corporations for partnership opportunities and collaborated with contracted athletes to engage sponsors and capture special event placements.

Chad was responsible for the creation and management of major Nike Sports Entertainment campaigns including the Brazil Soccer Team World Tour, Track & Field Championships, Tiger Woods Japan Golf Tournament, and Nike Basketball Global Tour.

Both Chad and his organization have received over 75 industry awards and accolades for client campaigns. Most recently, Tons was featured as one of Event Marketer Magazine’s ‘Industry Trailblazers’ for the experiential event industry.

In addition to his leadership at IMT, Chad is a proud University of Southern California alumnus and am involved in mentoring programs with both the USC Marshall School of Business and USC Associates.
