The Department of Psychiatry and the Behavioral Sciences at Keck School of Medicine of USC is spearheading a landmark universal screening process to identify student’s mental health and wellness needs and match them with appropriate services.
We are committed to emotional, physical and social wellness, which are just as important as academic success. We are focused on prevention services for all, early identification and intervention for those at risk, and integrated services for quality care and treatment. We believe that gathering up-to-date data and information is the first step towards change.
By completing the assessment, USC students will be provided with personalized resource suggestions based on their responses, including recommendations for mindfulness guides, well-being apps, online modules, individual or group therapy, or in-person or telehealth consultation.
We encourage students to be proactive about their mental health and overall wellness.
