Bicycle

This is a bicycle that I’ve had since 2016, although it has maintained its basic form, all the parts of the bike that could be replaced has been replaced. I bought the bicycle brand new after my first semester at USC after realizing that I really couldn’t walk anywhere in LA, and a car was too expensive. In-between that time and now, the bicycle has its handle bar stolen, wheels stolen, seat replaced, crank broken, fork damaged in a crash and bent back, and so many other incidences. It has been through as much change as I have throughout my few years in LA. Looking at it as an object for joy for this assignment, I have realized and relived all the memories that occurred because of, or around the bicycle. It is a mix of love and nostalgia, but I’m definitely joyful that it has been around for a long time.
