Anger – What happens when everything goes wrong

My original concept was based on my hatred for this extra stream of liquid that dribbles down the side of a pitcher when you’re pouring something. I wanted to design a pitcher that spilled this way every time.

I made a mold using Fusion (very frustrating experience) and 3D-printed out all of the components. Unfortunately, the print over the weekend wasn’t mirrored, so I ended up with two of the SAME halves. I printed another half again yesterday. Now talk about a time crunch.

After I got both halves printed out I filled the molds with cement and let them harden over night.

Alas, the removal process yielded this lovely pitcher. I glued it back together.

If my tone isn’t coming through as I wish it to, I was now experiencing fury at this tiny little cute vase.

Its state as of now is this messily put together piece in desperate need of sanding. I intended to drill a hole near the spout of the pitcher, but after realizing how brittle the material was, I decided against it. I think the piece still works though because there are hole in a few spots throughout that water will pour out of. So, I almost accomplished what I set out to do. Even without knowing the entire process of making the pitcher, I think using a container with multiple holes would insight some anger.
