While exploring the emotion of love, I wanted to look into the other emotions that come with it. Love may not always be happy and can oftentimes be associated with stress, anger, and instability.
I decided to knit a mitten to represent warmth and caring. As you put your hand through the glove, the wrist is made of soft wool while the rest of your hand is scratched by twine. This was intentionally done to show the relationship between soft and happy experiences with painfully “scratchy” experiences.
