Love has many different layers and takes many different forms. We’ve all heard of the 5 love languages. So my concept is to make a multi-layered heart pendant, which has 5 different colored hearts, from small to big, on each side when you spin it around. So it is reminding people that love is not just what you think it means to you, but also what your partner or loved one is looking for.
During the making process, I used one single wire to make the hearts that all connect on the bottom first, then I wrapped the yarn around all the hearts in one go, then I painted them in different colors in the rainbow. They are all in one string because even though love is shown in different forms, at the end of the day, they are ways different people show love, and there’s no right or wrong. The color choices also hint at LGBTQ love or diversity of love.
