My original idea was to utilize my fruit fabric to reveal something surprising underneath when the fan spun. Some ideas were a little scene or a zoetrope. However, I quickly found out that the fabric used for the fruit was too heavy for the fan to spin and lift the fabric up properly, and had to pivot around this since I didn’t have any other fabric.
I then decided to pivot to utilizing the color of the fabric and the candle-like structure to make it a sort of lamp, harking back to my very first project.
I think it’s a fun product, but the light is a little dim, and the physical structure of it could be improved, though.
