November 7, 2024 – University of Southern California, University Park Campus
The University of Southern California is convening a Quantum Technologies Forum, to be held on Thursday, November 7, 2024, at USC’s University Park Campus.
The goal of this meeting is to bring together all interested stakeholders in Quantum Information Sciences and Technologies (QIST), from academia, industry, and government, to discuss how to foster the development of a quantum ecosystem centered around Southern California. The idea is to take advantage of the unique capabilities that the region offers in terms of basic and applied research (both in academia and industry), workforce development, and economic investment. We envision bringing together the whole range of stakeholders, from companies (large and small) heavily investing in QIST, to motivated potential users, and to those that want to better understand how QIST will affect their industries.
As the development and deployment of quantum technologies is accelerating, this is the right time to bring together all involved in this field and generate the connections and collaborations that will expedite the scientific and economic development of Quantum Technologies in Southern California.
