Each USC Residential College or Community has its own Community Council, which is a group of students who represent their fellow residents in areas such as community outreach, funding, and programming. Community Councils are responsible for hosting a wide variety of social and community building events throughout the academic year. Student leaders are elected or appointed into their Community Council by their peers. Members represent their residents at Residential Housing Association (RHA) meetings and provide engagement and professional development opportunities.
Each Council is comprised of five core elected positions (President, Administration/Public Relations Chair, Community Outreach Chair, Finance Chair, and Programming Chair) and multiple supporting roles (including NRHH Representatives, Floor Senators, Intramural Chairs, and more).
