Keshia Clukey reports on K-12 and higher education on Long Island for Newsday. A native of Plattsburgh, New York, Keshia has a bachelor’s degree in journalism from Utica College and a master’s degree in investigative journalism from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow, Scotland. She has worked at several newspapers in New York state, most recently covering the politics and policy of K-12 and higher education for POLITICO’s Albany bureau. Prior to that she was the breaking news and crime reporter for the Times Union in Albany. Keshia has received a number of awards for her work from state and national press agencies.
