The Student Committee for Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (SC-DEI) aims to build a diverse, equitable, and inclusive culture within the USC Mann by supporting the expression of diverse identities, facilitating cross-cultural communication, and fostering a school-wide commitment to underrepresented populations.
Goals
- Increase awareness of cultural differences and the need for diverse representation
- Create spaces that foster self-pride, cultural appreciation, and individuality
- Encourage community outreach to underrepresented and under-served populations in Los Angeles
