Ph.D. and Postdoc Positions, Delft University of Technology

Do you want to join a vibrant research community dedicated to the development and deployment of quantum technology? The group is always looking for motivated Master and Bachelor students who wants to embark on a research project. Send an email to Johannes Borregaard (j.borregaard@tudelft.nl) and hear more about the current opportunities in the group.

The group is also currently looking for PhD and postdoc candidates to join the efforts. Details about the openings and how to apply can be found below.

Open positions

 PhD (1 position)

We are looking for candidates with good knowledge of quantum mechanics and quantum optics. Basic knowledge of quantum information theory is desirable and having carried out a Master project in a relevant field is a plus. The PhD project will be aligned with the general research goals of the group and will include modelling of quantum hardware and design/investigations of quantum information protocols. The position will be for 4 years.

The successful candidate should have completed their MS degree at the beginning of the employment.

Please enclose the following in an application:

  • Cover letter explaining the candidate’s background, qualifications, research interests and motivation for applying (max. 2 pages)
