Applications are invited for the position of Postdoctoral Researcher to work with Peter Bierhorst at the University of New Orleans located in New Orleans, Louisiana, USA. The duties of the postdoctoral researcher will be to perform research drawn from the fields of quantum information, quantum nonlocality, and/or applications to device-independent quantum information protocols. While this position is in the mathematics department, applications are welcomed from students and researchers with backgrounds in physics, computer science, or other related fields. This project is part of a jointly funded collaboration with Mark M. Wilde at Louisiana State University (LSU, located 80 miles/130 km from the University of New Orleans). The expected start date is August 2021 with some flexibility. The position will last for two years with the possibility of extension to additional years contingent on satisfactory performance and the availability of funding.
