We anticipate openings for postdoctoral positions in theoretical quantum information beginning in Fall 2022 or thereafter. Successful candidates will join the group of Graeme Smith at JILA and CU Boulder. In addition to quantum information, there are many researchers at JILA working on related topics such as precision measurement, AMO physics, and nanoscience. The ideal candidates will be able to interact fruitfully with graduate students in Graeme’s group, as well as a variety of other JILA members and members of the Center for the Theory of Quantum Matter. Candidates with an interest in connections between quantum information and other areas of physics (AMO, condensed matter, high energy, etc.) are particularly encouraged, as are candidates interested in Shannon theory and the theory of quantum networks.
