The Quantum Information Group (GIQ) of the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona (UAB) offers several positions for postdoctoral researchers (2 years, with the possibility of extension) and PhD students (up to 4 years), starting 1 January 2022 or shortly after.
The group comprises five senior faculty, two junior faculty and a number of postdocs and graduate students. We work on all aspects of theoretical quantum information science, specifically metrology and sensing, quantum machine learning, entanglement theory, non-locality, quantum many-body physics, open quantum systems, quantum thermodynamics and thermometry, resource theories (such as coherence, magic, non-classicality, …), quantum Shannon theory, and quantum signal processing, among others.
