Our Group participated at the “All Hands Meeting” of the Center for Mechanistic Control of Water-
Hydrocarbon-Rock Interactions in Unconventional and Tight Oil Formations (CMC-UF) at Stanford. We
presented three papers.
Shadi Toradi presented a paper titled “VLE and Mass Transfer in Tight Liquid-Rich Systems.” In it she
discussed our groups studies on the effect of confinement on Vapor-Liquid Equilibrium and Mass
Transfer.
Sheng Hu presented a paper titled “Fabrication of Model Silica Porous Media.” In it he discussed the
methods of preparation and characterization for model silica porous media and potential applications.
Jiyue Wu presented a paper titled “Adsorption and Phase Transitions in Porous Media.” In it she
discussed the methods and results of CO 2 adsorption and condensation in porous media.
