Our Group participated in the 2020 Virtual AIChE Annual Meeting that took place on November 16 – 20, 2021. Professor Tsotsis presented an invited talk in the Technical Session honoring Professor Jerry Lin titled “Methanol Synthesis in a High-Pressure Membrane Contactor Reactor Employing an Ionic Liquid as the Sweep.” He also presented another talk in a Technical Session that he co-chaired titled “A Hybrid Membrane/Adsorptive Reactor Process for Pre-combustion CO2 Capture. Experimental, Modeling and TEA Studies.” Lin Sun presented a talk titled “Characterization of Sorption, Deformation and Mass Transfer in Eagle Ford Shale Samples.” Three other talks that were presented reported recent results of our ongoing joint investigations with UCLA on process intensification during power generation and efficient Hydrogen production.
