We extend a warm welcome to our three new lab members who joined this July!
First, we have Dr. Youzhen Yan, who goes by Jane. She is a veteran in mouse genetics here at USC, and has already helped our lab extensively with reorganization and inventory. With her considerable lab experience, we are excited to have Jane help manage our grants, projects, and publications.
Next we have our new postdoc Dr. Xinying Guo, who also goes by Sarah. Xinying recently moved to California from New Jersey, and she is an expert in epigenetics and RNA sequencing. She looks forward to conducting molecular experiments and sequencing analysis with us. Xinying is also expecting a baby soon! 🙂
Last but not least, we have Xinyan Liang. She came to USC from Lanzhou, China to obtain her master’s degree in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology. She now works as a lab technician for us and looks forward to learning more about Alzheimer’s Disease. Xinyan is a huge anime fan and moviegoer!
