Welcome

In January of 2018, the library of the late Professor A.V. “Bal” Balakrishnan was generously donated to the Ming Hsieh Department of Electrical Engineering by his wife, Sonya Balakrishnan.

Sonya, an academic herself, shared a deep love of books with her late husband. She donated her collection to the department so that others could benefit from her husband’s legacy.
