Prior to joining the USC faculty on a full-time basis in August, 2021, I had a long career in information technology and analytics consulting and systems integration with the following firms:
- TRW (now part of Northrop Grumman) – 9 years working on command and control systems for the US Army and US Air Force and 5 years doing consulting and systems integration work for California state and local government agencies.
- EDS (subsequently purchased by Hewlett Packard Enterprise Services and now part of DXC Technology) – 4 years working with clients including a large oil and gas company and Experian, a credit data company.
- Razorfish – 3 years working with this prominent early internet consulting firm
- Management consulting startup – 7 years starting and leading a technology and management consulting firm working with state and local government clients
- Sierra Systems (now part of Sierra-Cedar) – 3 years leading technology and analytics consulting projects for this mid-sized systems integrator
- SAS – 8 years with this premier analytics products and consulting firm where I was responsible for our consulting business with California public sector clients
