I have been a member of the full-time faculty in the Industrial and Systems Engineering department since the fall semester of 2021. In that capacity, I have taught the following courses to our MS Analytics students:
- ISE-529 Predictive Analytics
- ISE-535 Data Mining
- ISE-543 Enterprise Business Intelligence and Systems Analytics
- ISE-558 Data Management for Analytics
At the end of the 2022/23 academic year, I received the department’s Outstanding Teacher of the Year award.
Prior to joining USC, I taught part-time throughout my consulting career at the College of Business Administration at California State University – Long Beach from 2008 – 2016 where I taught Spreadsheet Modeling, Decision Support Systems, Business Intelligence/Data Mining, and Quantitative Modeling courses for 12 semesters to undergraduate Information Systems majors.
In 2012-2013, I taught two 3-week short courses in Business Intelligence and Decision Support Systems to over 400 students in the Advanced Finance Program of this leading university in the field of economics, management, and business in Vietnam.
