Summer school students, including graduate students, postdoctoral researchers, junior researchers, will have the affordable option of staying at a dorm located on the USC campus.
As an alternative option for students, the Los Angeles area has numerous hotel and Airbnb options at a range of prices. The USC Hotel is also located on campus, and there are many hotels a short metro ride away in downtown LA.
Dorm Accommodations:
Students who are staying in the dorms will be housed in a shared room at the Cardinal Gardens (3131 S. McClintock Ave, Los Angeles, CA 90007). Here is a map of the dorms and the surrounding area: Cardinal Gardens Floorplan
Check in will be will be at the Cardinal Gardens Customer Service Center, and will be available after 2 pm on July 16.
Attendees must check out before 12 pm on July 22.
Parking is available and is sold at the Customer Service Center. The rate is $12/day.
After hours: From 9 p.m. to 6 a.m. every night, the number of entrances to campus will be limited, security personnel will be stationed at each open entrance and anyone coming to campus will be asked to show photo identification. Please carry a photo ID at all times. You will need the guest ID card given to you at check-in to access campus in the evening.
