In a nutshell, the registration process for candidate attendees starts by filling out an online form and uploading a couple documents. The organizing committee will then evaluate the applications and select nominally 70 participants based on relevance. Those selected will receive a notification of acceptance starting May 24, including directions for finalizing the registration and for paying the registration fee. More details below.
How to Apply:
To apply to the summer school, fill out the online application form (see link below). Please include the following:
- A CV (pdf);
- Letter of intent describing how the applicant’s research is connected to cognitive robotics (pdf).
The application deadline has passed and we are no longer accepting new applications.
The registration will be restricted to roughly 70 participants, selected based on relevance.
Eligibility: Any students (undergraduate and graduate), postdocs, research scientists, and junior faculty are welcome to apply. Preference will be given to graduate students, postdocs or junior scientists.
Registration Fee:
The registration fee is USD 450 (USD 300 for local students not needing accommodation). It covers:
- Admission to all tutorials and supervised laboratories;
- Coffee breaks during the five days of the school;
- Accommodation for 6 nights from July 16 (check-in) to July 22 (check-out) in a shared room at a dorm on the USC campus;
- Group activity and a social dinner.
