How to Apply

To apply for the USC Price EXED Local Leaders Program, the prospective participant must fill out an online application. There is no formal educational requirement, but the applicant must currently serve in a local elected office. Early application is encouraged as qualified candidates will be admitted on a rolling and first come first serve basis. Each additional program will fill quickly as we have a list of interested participants in numbers substantially more than what we can accommodate in one class. For an effective learning experience class size will be limited to thirty- (30) participants from diverse agencies (one elected official per agency per class).

Payment

While the cost of the program is paid for through the generosity of policy-driven organizations and sponsoring partners of USC Price EXED Forum listed on the website, a registration fee* of four hundred and ninety-five dollars ($495.00) for the program is expected to be paid for by the applicant’s sponsoring agency or the applicant. Financial sponsorship of our EXED Forum for Local Leaders Program is appreciated but not required by the agencies or the participants. Each participant upon completion of the program will earn a Certificate of Participation from USC Price suitable for framing. Program materials, articles, books, and daily breakfast/lunch are included and are part of the EXED Forum program. We accept payment by company check, credit card, or bank wire transfer.

Notification

All applications will be acknowledged via email. In the unlikely event that you do not receive an email acknowledgment, please contact acoelho@usc.edu

Cancellation 

If you need to cancel or defer participation, you must submit your request in writing more than 7 days before the program start date to receive a full refund. Due to various program planning, if you do not give 48 hours’ notice of cancellation your city/organization will be billed the standard program fee in the amount of $495.00.
