Our research focuses on developing novel data-driven and machine learning techniques to model, predict, and design the dynamics of complex systems and structures that are large dimensional and nonlinear. The ultimate goal is to ensure the systems can best withstand undesirable and unexpected outcomes in their dynamics. To achieve this goal, we bring together cutting-edge methodologies from nonlinear dynamics, artificial intelligence, mathematics, and computational science.
