Project Reach EACH Reading Programs

Project Reach EACH Summer School courses introduce incoming third and fourth grade Gifted, English Learners, and Special Education students to advanced reading strategies that are related to problem solving, critical and creative thinking. Students will apply skills such as inference, prove with evidence, cause and effect, judge with criteria, and reading between the lines.

These courses are offered to students with no participant costs.

COURSE DESCRIPTION:

Reading fiction and informational text to identify and define perspectives on the political, social, economic and cultural events of the past and present.

ELIGIBILITY:

Project Reach EACH – Reading from Different Perspectives is seeking a diverse cohort of incoming third and fourth graders inclusive of advanced and gifted, English learners, and special education students.

–  Student is entering 3rd or 4th grade during the 2021-22 school year
–  Student will attend all scheduled classes
