Introduction to Healthcare Delivery Science

Overview: The Healthcare Delivery Science (HDS) core group developed an online introductory course on the emerging, multidisciplinary field of healthcare delivery science. Through a series of asynchronous lectures developed with our Education Resource Center in line with best instructional practices, participants learn principles of:

1. 1. 1. Overview of Healthcare Delivery Science,
      2. Dissemination & Implementation Science,
      3. Health Systems Engineering,
      4. Behavioral Economics,
      5. Community Engagement,
      6. Informatics, and
      7. Team Science

Quizzes help students test their knowledge following each topic. The course is freely available to clinicians, researchers, health system administrators, research staff and students from any institution.
