Innovative Materials Group

To increase the resilience of the built environment, the group focuses on the use of materials in design and construction. Through a multi scale research approach, the group aims to develop novel solutions through design, engineering and material innovation. Research includes use of low carbon materials and how they can be optimized and adopted in construction. The group is led by Dr Bhavna Sharma.
