Jordan Fucci is a current master’s student in the Landscape Architecture and Urbanism Program at USC. She holds a B.A. in Environmental Studies from USC. She is passionate about fostering human connection to the natural environment while addressing current ecological issues we face today. Her interests lie in creating mutually beneficial landscapes for both humans and non-human species through interdisciplinary collaboration.
Paul Kim is a student in the dual-degree graduate program of Landscape Architecture + Urbanism and Heritage Conservation at USC. His focus examines the transformative impact of technology on cultural landscapes and the preservation of intangible heritage. His current thesis explores the potential of generative AI to create more inclusive cultural landscapes for Asian Pacific Islander American communities in Los Angeles. This work investigates how AI can reimagine heritage sites, empower community participation in design, and integrate futurist principles into conservation and heritage management. Ultimately, he aims to contribute to a more equitable built environment while addressing the ethical considerations of AI implementation.
Ming Leng is an undergraduate student pursuing a B.Arch in Architecture and a B.A. in Media Arts + Practice. She is passionate about expanding the relationship between humans and the built environment through interdisciplinary collaborations and seeks to develop projects related to sustainability in various forms.
Maria Alejandra Mateus is a current MLA candidate with a background in Product Design and Environmental Studies. Alejandra is passionate about designing at the intersection of humanity and the natural environment. Her research interests lie in the rehabilitation of nature through design, developing projects that bring together the community, the natural world, and the built environment.
Makaya Tome is a current graduate student pursuing a master’s degree in Integrated Design, Business, and Technology at the Iovine and Young Academy. She holds a B.S. in Environmental Science and Health. She is passionate about health and design and seeks projects that facilitate the symbiosis between nature and the built environment, with human health optimization as the central focus.
Yun Xing is a current graduate student pursuing a master’s degree in Landscape Architecture. She holds a B.A in Interdisciplinary Visual Art. She is passionate about combining art and science into landscape architecture projects to make the complexities of science more approachable to the general public.

Anna Avdalyan is a current Master’s student in the Landscape Architecture and Urbanism Program at USC and is focused on data-driven and biologically inspired design approaches to landscape architecture. Her research interests include materials – connecting virtual, immaterial, and physical components within the design process.
Jessica Golden is a current candidate for a Master of Architecture with a certificate in sustainable design at USC. Her design approach focuses on the integration of biology, environmental systems, and speculative architecture to visualize the effects of anthropogenic climate change. She holds a Bachelor of Science in Architecture from the University of Michigan.
Yuliang Jiang is an interdisciplinary designer in the AEC industry. His research focuses on framing sustainable systems and resilient prototypes across scales. Yuliang specializes in the development of integrated solutions that perform qualitative and quantitative analyses of design/research. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Urban Planning, a Master of Science in Architecture, and a Master of Landscape Architecture from USC.
