This research track uses microscopy to get closer to the dynamic microbial worlds that exhibit patterns and processes of multispecies symbiosis – providing models for living, across scales. Utilizing 4D spatiotemporal microscopy, the design-research track generates landscapes, systems and worlds that use these patterns and processes as the basis for a plurality of imagined futures.
